National Rail

Use this link to plan your journey by rail. You can book a ticket direct to Shanklin with SouthWest Trains including the Wightlink FastCat crossing from Portsmouth Harbour. Trains from London Waterloo run every hour to Shanklin.

Red Funnel Ferries

From Southampton, Red Funnel's 'Red Jet' service takes foot passengers to West Cowes in 22 minutes. Their car ferry service takes around 55 minutes to East Cowes.

The Grange is an offshoot of Skyros holidays and also Skyros HQ. Visit the Skyros website to find out more about its course-based summer holidays on the idyllic Greek island of Skyros. Courses and activities include yoga, writing, music and more.

Wightlink Ferries

The Wightlink foot passenger 'FastCat' runs from Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier in around 15 minutes. Wightlink car and passenger ferries run from Portsmouth to Fishbourne and take approximately 40 minutes.

Classic Car Extravaganza 2017

16 & 17 September 2017 - International Charity Classic Car Extravaganza Newport & Ryde
Victor Gallucci, organizer, has built these shows up over the last dozen years. In all, there will be in excess of 700 vehicles on display, guaranteed to delight all visitors from the youngest child to the eldest adult.
Both shows will be free to attend and access will be from 11am to 5:30pm
